NORFOLK — Power is out for some in northeast Nebraska after a fast moving thunderstorm moved through Madison County. According to Nebraska Public Power officials, Elkhorn Rural Public Power is working to restore power to 452 between Tilden and Meadow Grove.
Several have reported damage in the Tilden and Meadow Grove areas including damage to homes and multiple trees down.
Earlier Friday night, the National Weather Service reported that law enforcement reported damage to windshields in the Humphrey area. Humphrey Fire and Rescue is also responding to storm damage at the highway 81 and 91 intersection.
