WAYNE – A power outage that effects areas west of Wayne occurred at about 11:20 this morning.
Northeast Power is working to resolve the issue.
The power outage caused both KTCH and KCTY Radio to be off the air. Dispatch stated Wayne County was cleaning out the ditches and hit a shallow phone line and then the phone company struck the power line which caused the outage.
KTCH/KCTY in Wayne is back on air.
