LINCOLN – Ponca State Park will host Hallowfest on October 10th and 17th, 2020. There will be crafts, pumpkin carving, a cabin and campground decorating contest, Creepy Crawly Critter Corner programs, and a haunted drive.
Activities will look a little different this year with COVID-19. Crafts will be put into kits for visitors to take back to their cabins. There will adjustments made at the pumpkin carving contest to allow for social distancing. Replacing the Pumpkin Roll Obstacle Course and Pet Costume Parade will be the Creepy Crawly Critter Corner programs.
The typical Haunted Hayrack Rides will change into a Haunted Drive. Participants will drive a vehicle along the haunted route. It will cost $25 per vehicle. It is required that everyone buckle up. No buses, people in the bed of a pickup, motorcycles, ATVs/UTVs, or personal hayracks will be allowed. Registration for the Haunted Drive will be on October 5th starting at 8 a.m. Call the Park Office to register at 402-755-2284.
