Ponca State Park Sets Activities For Saturday, September 26

LINCOLN – Ponca State Park is excited to host educational and recreational programing this weekend. All activities must be pre-registered for. Call or visit the park office to register. Sign up starts at 8 a.m. the day of the event and closes 30 minutes before the event start time.

On Saturday, September 26, the park will be hosting two events. In the morning will be an “Introduction to Archery” lesson. This is for ages eight and older. In the early afternoon “Critter Corner” is offered. This program will provide a snapshot of wildlife along the Missouri River.

Another activity offered this weekend is the “Bingo/Scavenger Hunt.” Information for this event can be found on the information board in front of the Resource and Education Center. “Search for Sasquatch” is another program this weekend. Look around for his new hiding place and use the hashtag #SasquatchSelfieChallenge. Additionally, “Ponca Packs” can be purchased at the Resource and Education Center.
