‘Plains Writers Series’ To Take Over Wayne State Campus, Downtown Wayne Thursday

WAYNE – Community members are invited to attend a “Plains Writers Series” this week where Nebraska fiction writers and short stories by Wayne State College students will be showcased.

From the Humanities Lounge on the campus of Wayne State College, readings will begin at 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 6.

According to a release from Wayne State College, Authors will share selected works from “The Flat Water Rises: An Anthology of Short Fiction” by Emerging Nebraska Writers and “Judas Goat 2017-2018”.  Both are publications of the WSC Press.

The Lucky 13 Fiction Slam will follow at 7 p.m. at the Max Bar and Grill in Wayne. Prelims will begin at 5 p.m. as participants need two original short stories and $5 for registration.

All events are free and open to the public.
