LINCOLN – Slated to make its debut this fall, Nebraska State Patrol (NSP) uniforms will have a new look.

According to a release form the NSP, troopers will be given the option, throughout the month of October, to replace the standard NSP patch with a new patch featuring the NSP logo in pink and black. The current patch has the NSP logo in navy blue and red.

The effort is a way to raise money and awareness for breast cancer research.

The pink Nebraska State Patrol patches are also available for purchase by NSP civilian employees and members of the public. All proceeds from the sales of the pink NSP patches will again benefit research and treatment of breast cancer.
