PENDER – A mid-November neighborhood blood drive is scheduled at a northeast Nebraska fire hall.
According to a release from LifeServe Blood Center, the community blood supply has been low due to lower donor turnout. LifeServe officials are calling on all blood donors to help boost this blood supply this fall.
The Pender Community Blood Drive will be on Tuesday, November 15 from noon until 5 p.m. at the Pender Fire Hall (314 Maple Street).
Someone requires a blood transfusion every two seconds and 100% of the blood products needed by your community hospital come from LifeServe blood donors.
Make an appointment at an upcoming neighborhood blood drive near you as appointments are required.
