WAYNE – Friday morning chamber coffee was held at Pac N Save in Wayne where one of their own was recognized with the congeniality award.
Brian Kemp, who is the deli manager at Pac N Save was chosen as the congeniality award winner.
Store manager, Adam Endicott said Brian is such a deserving person.
“I always feel like he is always willing to go that extra mile to help a customer,” said Endicott. “Always has something nice to say, always willing to help at the store in other departments to do whatever he can to help out. Brian does a great job; all of our employees do a great job.”
Wayne Ambassadors meet on the fourth Wednesday of January, April, July and October where they vote on nominations approved and submitted by the Congeniality Committee. If not selected for the award, a nominee will be automatically re-nominated unless withdrawn for one more quarter.
Pac N Save is open 7:30 a.m. until 10 p.m. every day and upcoming closures will be all Thanksgiving Day, 4 p.m. Christmas Eve and all Christmas Day.
Contact the store at 402-375-1202 if you have any questions or visit https://wayne.pacnsavegrocery.com/ for more information.
For the past couple of years Pac N Save has been giving discounts to those who bring their re-usable bags in, according to Adam Endicott.
“We call it bag credits,” Endicott added. “Then every quarter we pick a different organization and we give that money to them. One of them being the Green Team, WEB we’ve done. We’ve done quite a few but like I said it’s another way that we’re able to give back to the community.”
The next Friday morning chamber coffee will be hosted by Wayne Auto Parts for their 50th anniversary at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 15. The only other chamber coffee host in November will be First National Bank of Omaha on Friday, November 22 at 10 a.m. The WAED office will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 28-29 as there’ll also be no chamber coffee that Friday.
