WAYNE – Haven House Family Services Center is hosting an online silent auction with funds supporting Haven House.
According to a release from Haven House, an on-trend deep purple leather handbag in bucket style was donated by the Allstate Foundation.
Haven House provides crisis intervention services for those affected by domestic violence and sexual assault.
The handbag features a cross body strap and a cinch top with suede and gold accents. Produced in extremely limited quantities, the estimated retail value of the purse is $350.00.
Haven House is accepting bids through their Facebook messenger (Haven House) until Friday, November 20.
One of the primary programs of the Allstate Foundation is dedicated to ending domestic violence through financial empowerment of survivors. The purse is symbolic of the Allstate Foundations program because purple is the color of domestic violence awareness and a purse is a symbol of a person’s financial domain.
