WAYNE – Over a two-week period, the Wayne elementary school library will be hosting an online book fair in May.
According to a release from the Wayne Elementary Library, families can take advantage of free shipping on book-only orders over $25 as the event will last from May 4 – May 17. The book fair is meant to allow children to continue reading and to enjoy a bit of normal during this unprecedented time.
The library recognizes that families staying at home may have caused some financial hardships for some. They would like to let everyone know that the library is sensitive to that concern and don’t view this opportunity as a fundraiser, but simply a chance to get new books into the hands of kids that may need them during this pandemic.
Purchase will support the elementary school, but the end goal of the library is to bring some anticipation and normal into the lives of children.
Adding any non-book items will add a nominal shipping charge as all purchases will ship directly to your home. Again, online shopping will be available all day from Monday, May 4 – Sunday, May 17.
