October 17 Local Candidate Forum To Air On KCTY

WAYNE – Wayne Area Economic Development Government Affairs Committee and Craftology are co-sponsoring the 2022 Local Candidate Forum.

According to a release from WAED, the event will take place at 7 p.m. from the Wayne Senior Center located at 410 Pearl Street tonight.

Candidates that are vying for contested offices in the 2022 General Election, which includes candidates for Ward 1 of the Wayne City Council (Karen Granberg and Clayton W. Bratcher), Wayne Community Schools Board of Education (Jodi Pulfer, Sylvia Ruhl, Justin A. Davis and Jaret Harmer) as well as City of Wayne Mayor (Cale Giese and B.J. Woehler) have been invited.

The general public is welcome to attend this free event.

A moderator and timer will help direct the flow of the Forum. The moderator will present each contested office and its corresponding candidates. Each candidate will be allowed a five-minute self-introduction.

Following introductions, and time permitting, questions from the audience will be taken. Questions must be submitted to the moderator via note cards, which will be available to the audience.
