WAYNE – As a new month is here blood donors are needed to roll up their sleeve and give a gift straight from the heart this February.
According to a release from LifeServe Blood Center, they are asking donors to spread the love and donate blood.
Premature babies, transplant patients, mothers after delivery, cancer warriors, trauma victims and more hospital patients receive blood transfusions from generous LifeServe blood donors each and every day across Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota
Upcoming LifeServe blood drives:
LCC High School and Community blood drive: Wednesday, February 12 from 1 until 4 p.m. at the high school (502 Wakefield in Laurel)
Ponca Community blood drive: Thursday, February 13 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at Ponca Community Hall (119 W 3rd St.)
Dixon Community blood drive: Friday, February 14 from 4 – 6 p.m. at the Dixon Community Center (107 1st St.)
