HARTINGTON – A northeast Nebraska community will be hosting a LifeServe Blood Drive this evening along with two more locations in late September.
According to a release from LifeServe Blood Center, the group is seeking eligible blood donors to give blood at upcoming community blood drives to benefit local hospital patients.
Blood is a vital part of treatment for countless illnesses and injuries afflicting local hospital patients in Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota. Generous community members who give blood with LifeServe Blood Center are directly impacting their neighbors in local hospitals, as LifeServe is the sole provider of blood to the medical centers in this area.
The communities of Hartington, Fordyce and Wayne will be hosting blood drives over the next two weeks.
Monday, September 20: Hartington Community Blood Drive from 12:30 – 5:30 p.m. at VFW Hall (206 East Main Street).
Saturday, September 25: Fordyce Community Blood Drive from 8:30 – 11:30 a.m. at Fordyce Fire Hall (209 West 2nd Street).
Wednesday, September 29: Wayne Community Blood Drive from noon until 5:30 p.m. at the Wayne Fire Hall (510 Tomar Drive).
