Northeast Community College To Close In Observance Of Memorial Day, Registration Continues

NORFOLK – A northeast Nebraska community college along with their extended campuses will be closed on Memorial Day.

According to a release from Northeast Community College, offices in Norfolk as well as O’Neill, South Sioux City and West Point will be closed on Monday, May 31. NECC will re-open on Tuesday, June 1 at 8 a.m.

Meanwhile, registration continues for summer and fall classes. Northeast Community College is offering free tuition to anyone who registers for summer credit classes at the college. This includes high school students who want to get ahead, current students or students from other colleges who want to transfer credits.

Summer Session I will begin Monday, June 7 with Summer Session II starting Monday, July 5. To take advantage of free tuition, students need to apply to Northeast Community College for the summer term and then register for classes. Students will be responsible for fees and textbook/supply costs. For more information, visit northeast.edu/tuition-relief.
