NORFOLK – A woman is in an Omaha hospital following a motorcycle accident Sunday.
Norfolk Police Captain Don Miller says it happened just after 3 p.m. Sunday in the 400-block of East Nebraska Avenue.
Captain Miller says the woman, identified as 53-year old Theresa Wiese, was riding a motorcycle on private property when she lost control, accelerating across the street and up the curb on the other side.
Miller says Wiese was thrown from the motorcycle, resulting in critical injuries. She was not wearing a helmet.
Miller says Wiese was taken by medical helicopter to Bergan Mercy Hospital. Her status has not been updated.
