NNPHD Reports No Positive COVID-19 Cases Tuesday, Testing Totals Near 300

WAYNE – For the first time in 11 days, no new COVID-19 positive cases were reported to the Northeast Nebraska Public Health Department.

From the previous 10 days, 22 of the 26 positive COVID-19 cases were confirmed between April 25 and May 4. Testing wise, 27 residents in the NNPHD Health District of Cedar, Dixon, Thurston and Wayne counties were tested Tuesday. The total COVID-19 tests have now reached 299.

As of Tuesday evening, these tests include 26 positive cases (Cedar – 4, Dixon – 14, Thurston – 6 and Wayne county – 2), 236 negatives and 37 tests currently pending results.
