NNPHD Reports Four New COVID-19 Positive Cases, Negative Tests Approach 1,000

WAYNE – Following a day of zero COVID-19 positive cases, four new tests were reported for residents of the Northeast Nebraska Public Health Department Health District as negative tests near 1,000.

According to a release from NNPHD, the new patients are three females and one male being three from Thurston county and one from Dixon county. The ages include 30s, 40s and 50s.

As of Tuesday afternoon, there have been 1,260 COVID-19 tests reported for people living in the NNPHD Health District of Cedar, Dixon, Thurston and Wayne counties. The results of these tests are 229 positive cases (Cedar – 8, Dixon – 44, Thurston – 151 and Wayne county – 26), 990 negatives and 41 tests currently pending results.
