WAYNE – An update to the Northeast Nebraska Public Health Department COVID-19 risk dial was provided mid-week.
According to a release from NNPHD, the health district of Cedar, Dixon, Thurston and Wayne counties are still in the high (orange category) but the arrow jumped on the higher-end and close to the red category.
As of Wednesday, November 4, there were an additional 60 COVID-19 positives reported. The update also includes new positives since last report/total positives/total number recovered for each county. Cedar (12/254/130); Dixon (8/212/140); Thurston (10/467/324) and Wayne (30/471/247).
From the beginning of the pandemic until Saturday, November 1, there have been 10 deaths in the health district. Of the 79 ever hospitalized, there were 12 as of November 1.
