The Wayne Vet Clinic provides preventive medicine, vaccinations, preventive healthcare and more, according to Dr. Lauri.

“We do some cancer therapies,” said Dr. Lauri. “We do geriatric medicine, so your heart dogs that need help and dogs that have lameness troubles; the usual vaccinations.”

Dr. Stevie joined the Wayne Vet Clinic in early June. She is a recent graduate from Iowa State College of Veterinary Medicine and has an interest in large and small animal medicine.

Dr. Lauri likes to say the Wayne Vet Clinic isn’t a Mash Unit and, besides Dr. Mark are not a Specialty Clinic; they kind of fall in between. The Wayne Vet Clinic provides life-long care.

Dr. Lauri added the community of Wayne is very welcoming.

“It’s big enough that you know you’ve got your groups,” Dr. Lauri added. “I just feel like people really treat the Vet Clinic well. I hope they feel the same about us back to them.”

The Wayne Vet Clinic will be out at the County Fair to inspect poultry and the rabbits coming in.

Join Magnuson Hopkins Eye Care at their new location just off HWY 35/W 7th Street (next to Dollar General) for a ribbon cutting on Friday, June 29 at 10 a.m.
