WAYNE – Earlier this year in February, Wayne State College and Western Iowa Tech (WIT) came together for new transfer agreements between two schools. In early March, WSC and Little Priest Tribal College signed new articulation agreements as well.

Located in Winnebago, LPTC president Maunka Morgan and WSC president Dr. Marysz Rames signed their new transfer agreements on March 4. This will allow students from Little Priest Tribal College to seamlessly transfer business degrees to earn bachelor’s degrees in business at Wayne State College.

According to a release Friday, 11 program articulations were signed that will lay out the pathway of courses and academic credits from the start of the LPTC program all the way through the completion of the WSC bachelor’s degree.

These pathways will serve students and the LPTC and WSC advisors working with the individual students on their plans of study.

Pathways from associate of science to bachelor’s in business degrees include concentrations in accounting, agribusiness, economics, finance, human resource management, international business, management, marketing, office administration, public accounting and professional studies.
