New Store Manager Of Pizza Hut Hosts Chamber Coffee

WAYNE – For the third Friday of April, community members attended a weekly Chamber Coffee event put on by the office of Wayne Area Economic Development.

This week’s host was Pizza Hut from their Wayne location at 901 E 7th St.

Jon Lierman is in his second year as store manager in Wayne and wanted to host Chamber Coffee to get more involved with the community.

“I was actually still with Pizza Hut in West Point for about six years in total,” Lierman said. “I was a cook then shift manager.”

Lierman enjoys helping the customers during his time with Pizza Hut.

The store is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. as well as Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. with buffet lasting from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. They also deliver from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. weekdays and all-day Saturday and Sunday.

Lierman’s staff is made up of around 18 with mostly being part-time college students.

Pizza Hut assists the Wayne Chicken Show during the wing eating and hard-boiled egg eating contests.

“This year we’re going to be adding our Pizza Hut truck down there,” Lierman added. “So, we’re going to be serving a lot more items. We’re going to be doing pasta with a breadstick with it and then we’ll be doing the chicken wings and personal pan pizzas again.”

Jim Molacek, director of operations and Jennifer Earle, district manager/area coach were also in attendance.

Call the Wayne Pizza Hut at 402-375-2540, visit their website at pizzahut.com or dine-in to order.

Parking Lot Pizza will also be starting Monday, June 3.

“It’s every Monday from like 5 o’clock until 7 p.m.,” Lierman mentioned. “Six-dollar pizzas; pepperoni and beef handed right out in the parking lot.”

Join Wayne High School for the next Friday morning Chamber Coffee on April 26 at 10 a.m. The school will honor their 2019 graduating class from the lecture hall.
