Nebraska To Help Norfolk Road Project

NORFOLK – The State of Nebraska is pitching to help with the cost of a northeast Nebraska road project.

The City of Norfolk announced on Monday that they’ve received a $460,000 grant from the Department of Economic Development for work on four blocks of Braasch Avenue.

City officials say the street is one of Norfolk’s top priorities with extensive cracking and improper drainage of storm water.

All told Norfolk has received over $700,000 in grant funds for the project which is set to get underway in the spring.
