Nebraska Enterprise Fund Celebrating 25th Anniversary, Norfolk To Host October 3

NORFOLK – Come late September into October, 25 years of success will be celebrated by the Nebraska Enterprise Fund (NEF) including a stop in northeast Nebraska.

According to a release from NEF, three lunches, one brunch and a reception will be held. The organization has been a leader in the development of business service organizations, provision of financial sources to sustain services and directly delivering resources to businesses to aid in the start-up and growth phases of development.

The first lunch will be held in North Platte on Wednesday, September 25; then in Kearney on Thursday, September 26; Lincoln (brunch) on Tuesday, October 1; a northeast Nebraska stop in Norfolk on Thursday, October 3 and closing out with a reception in Omaha on Thursday, October 17.

The celebration in Norfolk will be held from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. from the Black Cow Fat Pig (702 West Norfolk Ave.). Registration deadline to guarantee your spot is no later than Thursday, September 26.

In the past three years, the Nebraska Enterprise Fund has provided $10.42 million in lending to Nebraska’s small and micro enterprises impacting 1,473.3 jobs. NEF began in 1994 to support Nebraska’s small business eco-system through its revolving loan fund providing gap and direct financing from $1,000 to $150,000, business training and one-to-one coaching.
