WAYNE – Make plans to visit Our Savior Lutheran Church this weekend as the Omaha Food Truck will be back in Wayne on Saturday, July 28.
The food distribution site is located at the corner of 5th & Main Street in Wayne. Bring your own boxes or bags to assist in carrying food between 10 – 11:30 a.m.
Volunteers are also needed for several activities. There’ll be jobs for people of all physical abilities as this is a great opportunity to help others in the community.
From 8:30 – 9 a.m. help stack folding chairs and set up tables; between 9 – 10 a.m. unload the food truck and arrange food on tables; from 10 – 11:30 a.m. distribute food and help clients load food in their vehicles as well as clean up in putting the room back to its original arrangement between 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
