LINCOLN – Nebraska’s daily average of COVID-19 positive cases for last week were 396 compared to a daily average of 364 the week prior as well as 311 and 318 in recent weeks.
According to a release from the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), the state case total as of last Friday was 43,162 which was an increase of 2,775 from the week before. There were 26 new COVID-19 related deaths in the state for a total of 468. Also, a total of 32,238 Nebraskans diagnosed with COVID-19 have since recovered.
COVID-19 preventative measures include wear a mask, watch your distance and avoid crowded places, wash your hands, know your risk, stay home and get tested.
