Local Farmers Market Prepare For Grand Opening, Closed During 4th Of July

WAYNE – With the Wayne Farmers Market being closed during the 4th of July, the next market will be this Saturday from 9 a.m. – Noon.

The 2018 Wayne Farmers Market Grand Opening is scheduled for Wednesday, July 11 with extended hours from 5 – 9 p.m. The location will be the same, but 2nd Street from the alley to Pearl Street will be closed.

Children’s games, face painting along with a painting table for Wayne America Rocks will be offered. Music will be provided by Alan Bruflat, Tucker Hill Ensemble, so you can just bring a chair and listen.

A food truck will be on hand as well as local cold-pressed juice, eggs, baked goods, local veggies and handcrafted skin scrubs and sunscreens.

The Wayne Farmers Market lasts from June to October regularly on Wednesdays from 5 – 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. until Noon.
