Sarah Beckwith is the new Managing Director of the Little Red Hen Theatre. She talks about what responsibilities comes with the title.
“I have to manage a budget and take care of Vel’s, “said Beckwith. “PR, posters, graphic design, the website and Facebook.”
In this comedy of Leading Ladies penned by Ludwig, there are two struggling Shakespearean actors who pretend to be a dying woman’s nieces to inherit her millions.
The cast is made up of several people who have done several plays for the Little Red Hen Theatre.
Beckwith said the title of the play is deceptive since the men in the play outnumber the women in the play almost two-to-one.
“It’s actually mostly about two men who dress up as women in an attempt to get an old woman’s money,” Beckwith added.
