The Little Red Hen Theatre invites anyone 14 and up to participate in a unique production of “The Odyssey”. The Little Red Hen Theatre is located at 316 Main Street in Wakefield.

Auditions will be held Tuesday, January 22 at 6:30 p.m. Those interested just need to show up to the auditions prepared to read from a provided script, play theatre games, do some limited movement work while having fun.

The Little Red Hen Theatre brought on their new managing director, T. Adam Goos in November of 2018.

Rehearsals will begin on February 12 with performance dates scheduled for March 29 – 31.

“The Odyssey” is a highly theatrical and lively adaption of the classical Greek story by Homer. The story follows the hero Odysseus on his perilous 10 year journey home after the Trojan War.

Featuring an ensemble cast, the story and action of the play comes to life with actors portraying multiple roles, manipulation stage objects that transform, and through creative movement and stage combat.

The Odyssey: March 29 – 31

Tarzan (The State Musical): July 25-28
