Library Book Clubs To Discuss Their Readings, After-School Coloring Activity Hosted On February 28

WAYNE – With the final week of February here, there are still plenty of activities to check out at the Wayne Public Library.

According to a release from the library, their book club discussion of ‘Little Bee: A Novel’ is scheduled for Tuesday, February 25. The club will meet across the hall in the Senior Center from 6:30 until 7:30 p.m.

‘Little Bee’ is a 2010 novel by Chris Cleave and follows a teenage Nigerian refugee as her life intertwines with Sarah Summers, Andrew O’Rourke and Charlie O’Rourke.

The weekend book club group will then meet on Saturday, February 29 at 2 p.m. This month’s book selection was ‘There There’, a novel by Jimmy Orange. Since this is a new club, the library is open to new ideas and suggestions. To suggest books or ideas email scar@cityofwayne.org.

The final toddler times of February will take place on Wednesday and Thursday, February 26-27 starting at 10 a.m. Little ones will enjoy stories, music and busy bags to promote early literacy, writing and math skills.
