NORFOLK – The National Association of Conservation Districts (NACD) is sponsoring Stewardship Week to promote natural resource conservation. Since 1955, the event has run from the last Sunday in April to the first Sunday in May.
The Lower Elkhorn Natural Resources District (LENRD) is partnering with NACD. “Healthy Forests, Healthy Communities” is this year’s theme.
LENRD can assist people in the district with learning more about tree species. They can provide insight on tree planting and maintenance.
