Leadership Wayne XI Enrollment Open, Deadline To Register Is August 23

WAYNE – In about a month another leadership course will be offered by the Wayne Area Economic Development office.

According to a release from WAED, Leadership Wayne is crucial to the success of the community, as it cultivates new leaders and exposes participants to the myriad of assets in the Wayne area.

This year’s class will be Leadership XI and focuses on individual leadership skills and community activism. Some of Wayne’s most impactful community members have graduated from the program and are utilizing their leadership skills every day in the workplace.

The University of Nebraska Extension works in partnership with WAED hosting Leadership Wayne XI from September 2019 through May 2020. Sessions will be held the second Tuesday of every month from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. starting September 10 and will run through May, 12. The February session will be held in Lincoln with transportation provided.

Cost to attend Leadership Wayne is $159 as checks can be made payable to Wayne Area Economic Development or an invoice can be sent out to an individual or workplace.

The deadline to register is August 23 and the application form can be found on the August newsletter at wayneworks.org or by stopping into the WAED office at 108 West 3rd Street.
