WAYNE – The public is invited to a weekly event during an annual Holiday Chamber Coffee with treats and more.
At the main branch of State Nebraska Bank & Trust (122 Main Street), hot drinks and a live performance from the Wayne High Jazz Choir will take over the building. Friday morning Chamber Coffee on December 21 will start at 10 a.m.
CEO & Trust Officer, Matt Ley said it’s always great having the community visit the bank as they nearly fill their main floor every year.
“Last year was our Q125 so it was a little bigger I’m sure,” said Ley. “This year and every year, it’s a lot of fun when people come down. Even when you’re not usually going to chamber coffee’s or haven’t been to the bank a lot, that’s fine come down, it’s really fun.”
The parents of Matt Ley are David Ley (Chairman of the Board & Trust Officer) and Kaki Ley (Century Club Coordinator).
Being a small bank in today’s age, SNB has everything the big banks offer including mobile deposit and online banking.
SNB is the only bank locally-owned in Wayne and have been investing in the community since 1892. The bank provides loans for agriculture, businesses, homes and more.
Ley would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and invite those to attend State Nebraska Bank’s Chamber Coffee.
“It’s hard to find time in your day, but everyone who comes to that is filled with holiday spirit and Christmas cheer,” Ley added. “They just love it. Everybody who comes never regrets it, it’s a fun time, everybody gets really into it.”
