Labor Day Celebration Happening In Wausa

WAUSA – This weekend is full of exciting activities for those that are planning on attending the Labor Day Celebration in Wausa. On Saturday the community will host mud volleyball just west of the swimming pool. There will also be a corn hole tournament at Gladstone Park. The trap shoot will begin at 11 a.m. and the FLBA barbeque will be from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Gladstone Park open shelter. A beer garden will be available from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. by the mud volleyball courts.

On Sunday from 7-11 a.m. there is the Fireman Breakfast. The Annual Wausa Auto Show begins at noon with registration starting at 9 a.m. and awards at 4:30 p.m . at the Gladstone Park Baseball Diamond. Food vendors will be available throughout the day on Sunday. There is a horseshoe tournament at 1 p.m. with registration beginning at 12:45 at Gladstone Park. Bingo will happen from 1-4 p.m. The Ping Pong Drop will be at 3:30 p.m on the north side of the swimming pool. Cap of the evening with karaoke at Bill’s Place at 9 p.m.
