WAYNE – It’s been just over nine months since last year’s KTCH Quiz Bowl champions were crowned and a total of 64 teams will line back up for this year’s single elimination format.
The 2022 KTCH Quiz Bowl will air on Big Red Country ‘KTCH’ 104.9 and waynedailynews.com Monday – Friday normally at 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. and sometimes 11:30 a.m. depending on rescheduling dates.
The 2021 results saw Madison be crowned KTCH Quiz Bowl champions followed by Randolph in runner-up, Fullerton took third and Wausa finished fourth.
The 64 teams will be made up of over 250 students vying for the finals with the consolation round scheduled for March 3 and the championship KTCH match on March 4.
Week one will open on Monday, January 10 with Crofton vs. Logan View at 10:30 a.m.
Tuesday, January 11: Laurel-Concord-Coleridge vs. Winnebago at 9:30 a.m. and Homer vs. Shelby-Rising City at 10:30 a.m.
Wednesday, January 12: St. Edward vs. Columbus High at 9:30 a.m. and Wahoo vs. Lindsay Holy Family at 10:30 a.m.
Thursday, January 13: Scribner-Snyder vs. Humphrey Public at 9:30 a.m. and Chambers vs. Howells-Dodge at 10:30 a.m.
Friday, January 14: Osceola vs. Ponca at 9:30 a.m.; St. Mary’s of O’Neill vs. Pender at 10:30 a.m. and Wheeler Central vs. Wausa at 11:30 a.m.
