Western Iowans with property damaged by flooding have until July 1 to apply for federal assistance.

Individual aid is available to renters, homeowners and businesses in these nine Iowa counties: Fremont, Harrison, Louisa, Mills, Monona, Pottawattamie, Scott, Shelby and Woodbury.
Applications can be made in person, online or by phone.
Until further notice, Iowans can apply in person at these Disaster Recovery Centers:
- Glenwood Resource Center, 111 Lacey St., Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Fremont County Emergency Operations Center, 2014 290th Ave., Sidney, Iowa, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
All Nebraska Disaster Recovery Centers are closing Friday. The Nebraska application deadline is Monday.
Nebraska residents who have applied for individual assistance and been assigned an application number can get in-person assistance at the Iowa centers.
