PONCA — Ponca State Park will once again hold a fun filled Saturday with activities planned for all ages.

The fun starts at 9 a.m. with an introductory course to archery at the Eric Wiebe Shooting Complex. All equipment will be provided but participants must be at least five years of age to attend. Cost is $1 per 6 arrows.

At 1 p.m. meet a variety of animals at Ponca State Park. During this program you can hold some of the animals and interact with them one on one. Preregister for this free event at the Resource and Education Center.

At 3 p.m. see the start of the changing of the seasons during a Fall Leaf Hike. Join a Ponca State Park Naturalist for a stroll through the park and create a leaf journal that you can continue during future fall adventures. Meet at the Tri-State Overlook for this free hike.
