Historic Hotel Grand Opening

HARTINGTON – A 101-year-old Northeast Nebraska hotel is making its comeback in a big way.

The historic Hartington Hotel held its grand opening Friday, and the community came out for the celebration.

Included in the celebration, Lieutenant Governor Mike Foley made an appearance to commend the owners on renovating the building back to its former glory.

The hotel underwent a full restoration but cost-savings were found through donations and re-purposed lumber from the owners mill.

The hotel will feature upstairs lodging of 17 bedrooms, and 9 bathrooms. There will also be a coffee shop, gift shop boutique, a full-service bar and a large ballroom for weddings.
