Healthcare Renewal Information, Adult Diversion Program Updates Among Board Of Commissioners Meeting

WAYNE – A handful of individuals will speak during Tuesday morning’s regularly scheduled Wayne County Board of Commissioners meeting.

From the Wayne County Courthouse courtroom, the meeting will begin at 9 a.m. and highlight county office updates and reports.

Lucas Thompson is requesting to vacate the 12-foot utility easement between lots 1A and 1B of the Corrected Administrative Replat of Lots 1 and 2 of the amended Plat of Tuffern Blue Estates Subdivision. The agenda item is also stating to exclude the east six feet and the west six feet of said easement. More information will be provided at the meeting.

Steve Muir with Elkhorn Valley Insurance will also address the healthcare insurance renewal with United Healthcare followed by more updates on the Adult Diversion Program from County Attorney, Amy Miller.

Wayne County Board of Commissioners will also look to re-appoint Ken Olin to a five-year term on the Veterans Service Committee effective July 1, 2022.

Mark Casey, Highway Superintendent will then provide more updates on road and bridge projects.

A trio of action items will pertain to fund transfer resolutions as Commissioners will close out the meeting with a discussion about ARPA Funds.
