PENDER – A funeral for Henry Sands will be held on Friday in Pender, with a visitation scheduled for Thursday evening.
Sands, 53, passed away due to injuries in an accident, where his semi left a road way and impacted a bank in Dry Creek.
A visitation will be held at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, and a service will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m., according to his obituary. Sands will be buried in the St. Mark’s Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Munderloh-Smith Funeral Homes says Sands was a Pender High School graduate, who enjoyed reading, riding his Harley, and mud running. MS Funeral Homes also say Sands was a member of the River Rats Association.
