WAYNE – A local bank raised money to be donated to the Wayne Food Pantry in late November.

From Monday, November 26 – Friday, November 30 State Nebraska Bank & Trust hosted their Third annual Employee Soup Cook Off.

According to a release, employees made different kinds of soup for lunch each day before voting on the best tasting ones with donations.

Homemade soups included turkey cabbage, butternut squash, lasagna and more.  Megan Raulston’s buffalo chicken soup received the most votes for deliciousness.

Overall, SNB employees raised $288 to donate to the Wayne Food Pantry, along with two large totes of food.
