Fun Filled Saturday At Ponca State Park

PONCA – Ponca State Park is set to host another fun filled Saturday with activities for all ages. Saturday, November 17 will kick off with Meet the Critters at 9:30 a.m. This free event will be held at the Resource and Education Center at Ponca State Park. Join a naturalist to learn about a variety of animals housed at the Resource and Education Center. Participants will be able to touch some of the animals and learn how Ponca State Park cares for those creatures.

At 11:30 a.m. join in on some arts and crafts as participants will be able to create a fall wreath to hang on their door for Thanksgiving. Cost for the activity is $1 and there is a limit of 30 people.

Join a Ponca State Park naturalist at 2:30 p.m. for an educational program called Tricky Tracks at the Resource and Education Center. Participants will also be able to make a craft to help identify animals by the tracks they leave behind. Cost for the program is $1 and there is a limit of 30 crafts total.
