WAYNE – Community members are invited to Country View Assisted Living for Friday morning Chamber Coffee on September 14.
Located at 811 E 14th Street, Country View will be this week’s host starting at 10 a.m.
Coordinator of Country View Assisted Living, Misty Wylie said she oversees the day-to-day operations of assisted living.
“Making sure everything is within policy & procedure and state regulations,” said Wylie. “Supervising staff, training staff, taking residents to and from appointments, keeping them up to date with their doctor’s appointments.”
Country View Assisted Living and Careage Campus of Care are both connected. With Country View Assisted Living being the host for Friday morning Chamber Coffee, enter the west doors near the gazebo. Chamber Coffee will be held in the dining room area.
Sunday, September 9 – Saturday, September 15 is National Assisted Living Week with the 2018 them of, “Capture the Moment”.
Country View Assisted Living made picture holders Wednesday along with having a family party featuring bingo and a photo-booth.
Wylie added Country View Assisted Living offers limited assist with dressing, medication management, housekeeping and bathing.
“Basically, if you just need a little help and you’re not ready for the nursing home yet type of care we can help you out,” Wylie added. “We do deal with some dementia and memory loss just reminding me of stuff and keeping you focused.”
