WAYNE – Community members gathered at Carhart Lumber on Main Street for Friday morning’s Chamber Coffee. Carhart Lumber offers numerous products and services in ten different locations throughout Nebraska. This is the 98th year that Carhart Lumber has been in business.
“Carhart Lumber is 98 years old this year and it’s all because of our customers and our employees but that is why we are here, to serve you and serve the Wayne community so we thank you for coming to Chamber Coffee and thank you for your business over the last decades and we look forward to serving you in the future again,” said Brenda Carhart who is the Vice President of Carhart Lumber.
Carhart Lumber is part of the “Do It Best” network and Director of Marketing, Brandi Lanman discussed how they are making it easy to shop at Carhart Lumber.
“Anything that we don’t have in the store that you can find on “Do It Best” you can purchase there and ship it to the (Wayne) store for free,” explained Lanman. “We are working on making it greater and just easier to shop with Carhart Lumber. Pretty soon we will have a button on our website that says shop our catalog. You guys will be able to click on that and order anything you want off of that site and it come here (to the store) for free.”
Among the services offered by Carhart Lumber are; drafting and design, interior design, glass and screen repair, millwork, installed insulation, and more. Carhart Lumber has the tools and supplies for most any building project and the expertise and advice to pass along to their customers.
