COLUMBUS – A forum will be held on April 4th, for the four candidates hoping to replace Senator Paul Schumacher in the legislature.
The candidates vying for the seat included Francis Kuehler of Humphrey, Kenneth Leischner of Columbus, Former Columbus Mayor Mike Moser, and Doug Oertwich of Pilger. Paul Schumacher is unable to remain in the legislature due to term-limits.
This District 22 forum is hosted by the Colfax, Platte, and Stanton County Farm Bureaus.
The forum begins at 7 p.m. at Wunderlich’s Banquet Hall in east Columbus.
