NORFOLK, NE – State Senator Mike Flood, on the republican ticket to replace former First District Congressman Jeff Fortenberry in the June special election, has received yet another significant endorsement – this one from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Flood is also a candidate in the May 10th republican primary in the First Congressional District.

Flood reacted to the endorsement by saying – “I’m honored to receive the endorsement of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. As a job creator, I’m focused on pursuing the pro-growth, conservative policies that will enable our families, businesses, and communities to thrive and prosper.”
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce joins a number of leading national and Nebraska organizations in supporting Flood, including Nebraska Farm Bureau, Nebraska Right to Life, and the National Rifle Association of America. Flood has been endorsed by Governor Pete Ricketts, former Governor Dave Heineman, former Nebraska Republican Party Chairmen David Kramer, Mark Quandahl, and Mark Fahleson, Republican colleagues in the Nebraska Legislature, former Nebraska State Patrol Superintendent Tom Nesbitt, and a coalition of 1st Congressional District mayors and county sheriffs.
