NORFOLK – A milestone event is being held in late September in a northeast Nebraska city during ‘Fitness Fiesta’.
According to a release, the Norfolk Area Health Fair will be available for all ages at the Cox Activities Center at Northeast Community College. Free admission will take place on Friday, September 24 from 6:30 a.m. until 6:30 p.m.
PATCH stands for Planned Approach to Community Health. Norfolk Area PATCH is celebrating their 30th anniversary offering low-cost screenings including complete blood workup. The blood workup screening will cost only $50 and is valued at up to $750.
For those over age 60, the suggested donation is $25.
Fasting of 10-12 hours is preferred and make sure to drink plenty of water along with taking medications if possible.
Free screenings and risk assessments will also be available. Audience participation is welcome in demos and presentations.
Face masks will be required during the Fitness Fiesta.
