Father Daughter Arrested in Incest Case

ST. PAUL, Neb. (World Herald News Service) Two St. Paul residents who are apparently father and daughter have been arrested by Grand Island police on warrants relating to an incest case.

Travis E. Fieldgrove, 39, and Samantha H. Kershner, 21, were arrested Tuesday.

“This case relates to the two being involved in an intimate relationship beginning in September of 2018 in Grand Island, Neb., despite evidence that Fieldgrove is the paternal parent of Kershner,” says a release from the Grand Island Police Department.

The two suspects are also apparently married.

“Evidence leading up to the arrest suggests that Fieldgrove and Kershner were aware of the biological relationship before being intimate, and further indicates that they quickly married one another after being notified of the investigation,” the news release says.

Court documents state that both are St. Paul residents. Incest is a Class 3 felony.

Both are currently housed in the Hall County Jail pending bond.
