Enjoy Events For All Ages During Creighton’s Berry Pepper Days

CREIGHTON – With several communities hosting activities across northeast Nebraska this weekend, make plans to attend Berry Pepper Days in Creighton.

From Friday, June 15 – Sunday, June 17 check out several events starting with the Community Wide Garage Sales on Friday and Saturday.

A Road Rally is scheduled for Friday from 5:30 – 7 p.m. starting on North Clark Ave by the cemetery and there’ll be free swimming from Noon until 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday from Noon until 5 p.m.

A Color Run/Walk will take place on Saturday with registration at 7:30 a.m. Meet at the Creighton Public Library.

Bounce houses will be available for the kids during Creighton Berry Pepper Days from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Saturday and from Noon until 6 p.m. on Sunday. A Cornhole Tournament will start at 1 p.m. on Saturday on the tennis court in the park. Cost is $20 per team.

A St. Louis Style Ribfest and Bean Contest will be held at Bruce Park with serving taking place from 5 – 7 p.m. Two alumni banquets along with a street dance provided by the Emmett Bower Band will close out Saturday night.

The Texas Softball Tournament and Jr/Sr American Legion Baseball Tournament will also take place this weekend.

Duck Races are scheduled for 12:30 p.m. with the Creighton Berry Pepper Days Grand Parade starting at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 17.

The Historical Center will be open from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday as well as 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Sunday.
