Emerson Betterment Committee To Hosts First-Ever Banquet, Proceeds To Assist Veteran’s Memorial

EMERSON – A silent and live auction will feature several items with a portion of the proceeds in a northeast Nebraska community going towards a Veteran’s Memorial.

According to a release from the Emerson Betterment Committee, the group will be hosting their inaugural banquet featuring silent/live auctions this weekend.

From the Sacred Heart Gym in Emerson, the banquet will be held on Saturday, January 22. A social will begin at 5 p.m. with the meal to follow around 7 p.m.

Cost for tickets will be $30 for adults; $15 for those 12 and under or $200 for a table of eight. Only 30 table prices have been reserved as all other seats will be sold as single tickets.
