WAYNE – Join Ekeko Blends for a variety of juices and coffee during Chamber Coffee Friday morning at 10:00 am.
Ekeko blends is located at 110 Main St, Wayne, NE 68787 and owned by Dr. Mytzy Rodriguez-Kufner. It has been a Wayne business since January of 2019.
The Peruvian café and juice bar primarily focusing on healthy, cold-pressed juices. Rodriguez-Kufner said her regular customers have some run-away favorite blends such as the Amy and the Morning Glory.
“In terms of cold pressed juices, the most popular one is the orange pineapple carrot blend,” Rodriguez-Kufner said. “We do have out loyal customers that come in a they like the apple kale with anything else in it.”
This last week has been customer appreciation week at Ekeko with a 10-percent discount being offered on everything in the store. Because of the weather, customer appreciation week may be extended till Wednesday of next week Rodriguez-Kufner said.
Rodriguez-Kufner said Chamber Coffee is a good opportunity for her to see her colleagues.
“The reason I’m hosting Chamber Coffee is it’s good to share with others what’s been going on and get feedback from the community,” Rodriguez-Kufner said.
Chamber Coffee is put on by Wayne Area Economic Development and Chamber of commerce and open to the public.
